Jesse W. Reno invented the moving stirs ( Escalator ) in 1891.
The Escalator was at 25 degrees going up, and speed of 75 feet per minutes. Escalator was used to move from one floor to the other, in easy way that you don't get tired. The Escalator in 1891 was like a huge rubber band with steps of stirs. You set on one of them then it movies up. But the escalator used today is different it is more like moving stirs. it basically stirs that moves. 9 As you can see in the second image. The Escalator was common used in Airports, office buildings, etc. Without the invention of the Escalator we have to go up by stairs long distance. Because buildings this days are really high up. Advantages: It saved many people from going up by stirs, saving time, saving enrage. |
